Here's a view of Carmel Mission from the courtyard in front of the doors. Certainly one of the most beautiful of the California Missions, Carmel was founded by Father Junipero Serra in 1770, this building being completed in 1797. Father Serra is buried here. 181018. Watercolor, 10" x 10".
