Watercolor: Carrying Water - 14" x 14"

This is a woman in Sinazongwe Zambia, who carries a baby on her back as well as a container of water. The inspiration for this came from our church's participation on May 19, 2018 in World Vision's 6K Race for Clean Water. Six kilometers (3.72 miles) is the average distance women have to travel to get water. After walking (most of) 6K, I began to appreciate the luxury of clean water in villages made possible through gifts to World Vision and other charitable agencies.
