Here's an exercise in repetitive patterns. I threw in the brown egg just for the fun of it. This painting won an Award of Merit in the "Awash with Color: WASH Member Show," at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center, April 4-23, 2017. The show's judges (Rebecca Ryland and Stacey Vetter) commented, "It is always challenging to paint a subject that is white, because we all know that there is really no such thing. “Odd Egg” by Ralph Wilson, a winner of one of the merit awards, makes it look easy."
