Watercolor: Dawn Breaking over Tomales Bay - 14" x 10"

Early Saturday morning before dawn I left the St. Columba Episcopal Church Retreat Center in Inverness, CA, in search of photos with my Sony A5100 camera and a long zoom lens. When I took this photo along the south shore of Tomales Bay, almost to Point Reyes Station, the sun was just rising above the mountains. I love the delicacy of the trees; I hope I captured it. Exhibited in the WASH Member Show, "Awash with Color," April 7-26, 2020. In a private collection, T&S Heck. 190912. Watercolor, 14" x 10".
