Watercolor: Coventry Cathedral Grotesque - 8" x 8"
When Jean and I were viewing old Coventry Cathedral in 2009, I saw this grotesque, that matched another on the opposite side of the 'roof' of a peak decoration. I learned that it's called a gargoyle only when it is a water spout; otherwise it is called a grotesque or chimera. 201020. Watercolor, 8" x 8".
