Watercolor: Prickly Milk Thistle - 20"x14"



Prickly beauty up close. I started by masking the whites, then painting the colorful background rather wet, with the brushstrokes simulating the surrounding graces. Fun. Watercolor, 20" x 14". Exhibited in the Placer Artists League Open Juried Show, Auburn, June 2-20, 2015.
