These delicate flowers were growing in our left-to-die lawn this summer in the drought. It's hard to capture the fine delicacy of the flowers in this umbel. The flower is also known as Daucus carota, wild carrot, bird's nest, and bishop's lace. Watercolor, 14.5" x 9.5".
