In June 2018 I spent part of a day around Lily Lake, above Fall Leaf Lake in the south Tahoe area. Beside the trail I found this beautiful Red Columbine (Aquilegia formosa). below the columbine is the grain head of a local grass. This painting brings back memories of that peaceful day.
