| In April the fields of Central California are bright with Yellow Mustard (Field Mustard, Brassica campestris, or B. rapa Jepson). In some parts of the wrold, the condiment mustard is made from grinding the seeds with oil. I used lots of masking fluid to get the background as even as I could. Watercolor, 10.5" x 14.5." |
